Stacking the Shelves (3)

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by fellow Canadian blogger Tynga at Tynga's Reviews where we share any new books or goodies we bought, received, borrowed, etc. during the week.

The past two weeks, I've gotten...

Received for Review:

Thanks so much to Simon & Schuster Canada for sending these books for review... The cover for Tonya Hurley's The Blessed seriously creeps me out!

Bought:

I've already read all four of these books and they were all amazing good! I was really excited to find Rachel Vincent's Before I Wake on shelves almost two weeks early at Chapters and snatched up a copy right away. If you follow me on Twitter, then you'll know the latest book in the Soul Screamers series has left me completely gushing and fan-girly the past few days. You're going to absolutely LOVE the book if you're a fan of the series!! There are so many pages filled with Tod's pure awesomeness. *swoons*

What about YOU? Any new reads/finds this week?

And as always... Happy Reading!

  18. Storm by Brigid Kemmerer really shocked me. A story about four gorgeous brothers, who have elemental powers. Each of the Merrick brothers have one element. Earth, Fire, Air, or Water. Becca, the main protagonist in this story, never had anything to do with those brothers who go to school with her. One day, that all changes when she sees Chris, the youngest Merrick brother, getting beat up by some other boys. I really loved how the author introduced the characters to eachother. I really found it a refreshing idea, and not the typical "new student". Though, there is a new student, and that new student is a very hot guy named Hunter. Now that's where things start to stir up. As you might already know, there is a really tense love triangle between Chris, Brigid, and Hunter.
