Won:

I've been really excited to read Blood Bound, the first novel in Rachel Vincent's new adult series. So imagine my surprise when I learned I had won a copy from her during one of her giveaways on her blog! Thank you, Rachel! 

Received/Gifted:

On Tuesday evening, my sister and I visited Penguin Canada's offices in Toronto. Next year, Penguin is launching a new line of novels aimed at readers 12+ along with an online community site... so Penguin Canada was asking for volunteers to come to their headquarters to ask us some questions and to give input about what they had in mind. 

It was a great discussion! We were warmly greeted by Penguin Canada's Vimala and Bronwyn... and I also got meet: Wendy (from A Cupcake and a Latte), Chandra (from Indigo Teen Blog), Melanie (Teens Editor for the Chapters/Indigo Online Community), and Chloe (from YA Booklover Blog)! As a thank you for coming, we got to take some books home with us too.

Thanks so much to Penguin Canada for these books!

      I finished A Million Suns (I know, I couldn't wait!) and I loved it. Now I have to wait a year for the third *cries*

      Awesome books, seriously! I just finished Crossed, and I know a lot of people didn't like the first book, but I loved the second! And Shattered Souls! It's so good - hope you enjoy them all :)
