Last Saturday, Sept 25, I had the amazing opportunity to meet some of my favourite authors when they were in town for the Teen Reads Awards!

Earlier in the day, Becca Fitzpatrick (author of Hush, Hush), Ally Carter (author of the Gallagher Girl series and Heist Society), Lesley Livingston (author of Wondrous Strange and Darklight), Carrie Jones (author of the Need series), and Richelle Mead (author of the Vampire Academy series) were all signing their novels at Indigo Yonge & Eglinton before the big event and there was no way I was going to miss up the chance to meet them! (Even if it meant missing the Smart Chicks Kick It! Tour which I heard was tons of fun, so I can only hope I can attend next year!).

I arrived with my Mom and sister just at noon, right when Becca, Ally, and Lesley began taking questions from the audience. (We have this tendency of planning to arrive early to places but then we always end up late, so it was quite a miracle we even made it on time.)

So, I've finally broken my anonymity. *gasps because I'm not really the photogenic type...* That's me holding an ARC of Tempestuous, which is my WoW pick this week. Boy, I wish that was mine, but sadly, it's not. I'm sure Lesley knew many of us (including me!) probably wanted to steal her copy, so her defense was to tell people to steal Teen Read Awards tickets from people instead, lol.



And here I am with Ally Carter! I saw her when she came to Canada back in July, so I didn't really need anything signed this time around but she was still so nice to take a pic with me!
