Kim Harrington officially revealed the cover of Perception, the sequel to Clarity, today on her blog along with the plot synopsis!

Release Date: March 2012
Publisher: Scholastic Point

Summary (from author's website):
This hotly anticipated sequel to CLARITY delivers another dark, paranormal mystery.

When you can see things others can't, what do you do when someone's watching you?

Everybody knows about Clarity "Clare" Fern. She's the psychic girl in school, the one who can place her hands on something and see hidden visions from the past.

Only Clare would rather not be a celebrity. She prefers hanging back, observing. Her gift is not a game to her.

But then someone starts playing with her head . . . and heart. Messages and gifts from a secret admirer crop up everywhere Clare turns. Could they be from Gabriel, the gorgeous boy who gets Clare's pulse racing? Or from Justin, Clare's hopeful ex-boyfriend who'd do anything to win her back?

One thing is certain. Clare needs to solve this mystery, and soon. Because the messages are becoming sinister, and a girl in town has suddenly disappeared.
I think I like the cover of Clarity better still but this one has a nice look to it as well. They've changed the model to someone else, which kind of saddens me, but the background forest is really pretty with those colours! The plot description sounds awesome though. I can't wait to see how Clare will use her abilities to solve another crime!

If you haven't read Clarity yet, I highly recommend you read it! Here's my review if you'd like to hear my thoughts on it.

What do you think of the cover? Are you excited for Perception?

  2. I also like the cover of Clarity better then Perception, and I also like the old model too. It was what caught me into reading Clarity. But the colors and light is a good match also!

  4. Oh, I like it, think it's pretty but the girl on the cover sort of reminds me of Nicole Kidman (the younger, not blonde years)

  5. I can't decide which cover, or model, I like better, but I think I'm leaning toward liking Perception more. Either way, I loved Clarity, and can't wait to read Perception.
