Mark Your Calendars Canadians! July Edition
1:00 PMTo my fellow Canadians, are you ready to mark your calendars? Here are some upcoming bookish events to look forward to in July!
Maggie Stiefvater
Maggie Stiefvater will be in Ontario promoting the release of Forever, the third and final novel in The Wolves of Mercy Falls trilogy, this month with signings and discussions at these locations!
- July 16 from 12 p.m. - 3 p.m. ~ Chapters Oshawa: 419 King Street West, Oshawa, ON.
- July 16 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. ~ Indigo Yorkdale: 3401 Dufferin Street, Toronto, ON.
- July 17 from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. ~ Chapters South London: 1037 Wellington Road, London, ON. **A Sharpie Guitar will be given away at this event. You can see this post on Maggie Stiefvater's blog to have an idea of what it will look like.**
I know Charlaine Harris isn't a YA author but I thought some of you may be interested to know that she'll be in Canada this month as well. For those who don't know, Charlaine Harris is the author of the Sookie Stackhouse series and she'll be in Toronto promoting Dead Reckoning, the 11th novel in the series. I've read up to book 9 so far but this series seems to be never-ending!
- July 18 at 7:00 p.m. ~ Indigo Toronto Eaton's Centre: 220 Yonge Street East, Toronto, ON.

I'm not sure if I'll attend the Charlaine Harris event, but I'll definitely be attending one of Maggie Steifvater's book tour stops! I'll most likely be attending her Chapters Oshawa event this time around...
Will you be attending any of these events?

ReplyDeleteLouise Penny, a Canadian New York Times bestselling author, is also doing a tour for the opening of her latest book, "A Trick of the Light." It opens in a bookstore in Concord, NH, but she also is doing events in Canada in July and August.
