In My Mailbox (37)

1:41 PM

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren where we share any new books or goodies we bought, received, borrowed, etc. during the week.

This week I got...

Received for Review:

Thanks so much to Quirk Books and Random House Canada for sending me this novel to review! I'm so glad the Canada Post strike finally ended!

Bought:

I couldn't resist buying a couple books this week, especially since there was a sale at Chapters/Indigo! I'm getting farther and farther behind in my TBR pile but I can't seem to stay away from a bookstore for too long...

The copy of Once Every Never is being given away for the Canada Day Blog Hop and although the hop officially ended yesterday, your last day to enter for the copy is tomorrow, July 4!

What about YOU? Any new reads/finds this week?

And as always... Happy Reading!

  12. I'm so happy the strike is over as well! Although you would hardly know it by the rate the mail is coming in over here...like molasses. But it's better than none at all!

I've heard lots of positive things about the Miss Peregrine book...I admit I'm a little bit wary of it because it looks kinda creepy and disturbing! Seems like a really neat idea to combine those vintage photos with a YA story, though.

  17. AHH MISS PEREGRINES. I think that book is following me... I am way too freaked out - I can't even look at the cover!

I can't wait to read Once Every Never and Uncommon Criminals :) I loved Heist Society and Wondrous Strange (although I haven't read the sequels yet).

There was a sale at Chapters? I didn't even know that! I haven't been there since the Veronica Roth/Lauren Oliver signing and it's been even longer since I went to shop.

    Happy reading!
