This week's FF question is: What makes up your non-human family?

Meet Georgia, my family's cockatiel bird. Not only is she older than me, but she also loves to drive my sister nuts and says, "Pretty bird!" 


This week's BBH question is: Why do you read the genre that you do? What draws you to it?

I love reading YA fiction but within this category, I don't stick to a particular genre! I'll read anything ranging from paranormal, dystopian, contemporary, romance, etc., etc.! I try to keep an open mind and as long as the story sounds like something I would enjoy, then I'll read it! I'm drawn to these stories in that anything can happen- a girl can find her prince, zombies can rise from the dead... I'm sure you know what I mean. I also read adult books sometimes! They usually have some sort of crossover appeal and even more often times, they're urban fantasy with kick-butt main characters and some hot romance scenes. *blushes*

This week's FF question is: What are your plans for Christmas Day?

On Christmas Day, I'll be opening presents with my family and once that's finished, probably relaxing reading a new book until it's time to head to my relatives on my Dad's side. We'll do a short second round of opening presents and then we'll probably all watch a few DVD's together until it's time for dinner. My aunt usually cooks up a storm so I'm sure there will be lots of turkey, stuffing, potatoes, etc. for us to eat. I'm really hoping she bakes a chocolate pie for dessert because it's always so yummy! That's probably it for us. Low-key and nothing too crazy except one of their dogs probably eying our food and trying to steal a taste. ^.~

What about you guys? Anything really special planned for the day?

I'm hoping everyone has a safe and wonderful Christmas with their families!!
