Summary (from Goodreads):
Even angels make mistakes in this page-turning epic romance...

When her parents are murdered before her eyes, sixteen-year-old Helen Cartwright finds herself launched into an underground London where a mysterious organization called the Dictata controls the balance of good and evil. Helen learns that she is one of three remaining angelic descendants charged with protecting the world's past, present, and future. Unbeknownst to her, she has been trained her whole life to accept this responsibility. Now, as she finds herself torn between the angelic brothers protecting her and the devastatingly handsome childhood friend who wants to destroy her, she must prepare to be brave, to be hunted, and above all to be strong, because temptation will be hard to resist, even for an angel.

Michelle Zink masterfully weaves historical fantasy with paranormal romance to create a gripping tale of love and betrayal.

I haven't read Michelle Zink's Prophecy of the Sisters trilogy, but I'm definitely thinking that A Temptation of Angels will be the first novel I'll read by the author! I've seen this book featured on so many WoW picks, so I know I'm definitely not alone in thinking A Temptation of Angels sounds like a wonderful new spin on angel mythology. And with a mix of historical fiction and romance as well, I'm wondering how I could possibly not like the novel. I'm definitely very excited for this one!

  17. Waht attracted me to this book as soon as it caught my eye was the cover. Does she not look like she is staring at something glorious?! Her eyes are alight with something mysterious. If anyone looked like a descendant of an angel, it was her. Love books on angel mythology and haven't read a new series or novel about it in while. I am hoping this will be a fresh new addition to YA angel mythology books. Can't wait for the release!
