In My Mailbox (52)
11:00 PMIn My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren where we share any new books or goodies we bought, received, borrowed, etc. during the week.
This week I got...
Received for Review:
- ARC of Revived by Cat Patrick
- ARC of The Rivals (The Mockingbirds #2) by Daisy Whitney
- Winter Town by Stephen Emond
Thanks so much to Hachette Book Group Canada for sending these novels for review!
It looks like my new ARC of The Rivals will match the cover of my first book, but I was also getting used to the new cover as well... I read Cat Patrick's Forgotten a few months ago and really enjoyed it, so I'm hoping the same will be true for Revived. And Winter Town sounds like a great contemporary novel with a bit of quirkiness and romance.
Even though Chapters/Indigo had a sale this weekend, I didn't buy any more books since I bought quite a few last week. It may not always be the case, but I do show self-restraint sometimes...
And I'm sorry the blog was so quiet this week! I was so busy with schoolwork that I was too exhausted to even think about writing a review... and I didn't have much time for reading either. For just a little heads-up, my final tests and exams are approaching, so if the blog seems quiet again, it's because of school. I can't wait for Christmas break so I can build my new bookcase and read books for fun again!
What about YOU? Any new reads/finds this week?
And as always... Happy Reading!
