Jeyn Roberts


Canadian author Jeyn Roberts will be celebrating the release of her debut novel Dark Inside, the first in a post-apocalyptic trilogy.
Ally Carter

Ally Carter, the popular author of the Gallagher Girls series and Heist Society novels, will be making her way to Montreal for a Girls' Night Out at the Jewish Public Library for a fun filled night with desserts, door prizes and raffles. 
  • Sunday, November 13 at 7:00 p.m. ~ Jewish Public Library5151 Côte Ste-Catherine, Montreal, QC.
  • Admission is $25. Tickets are only sold in advance and there is limited seating. You can find more information on how to purchase a ticket at the link just above.  
Kelley Armstrong

Canadian author Kelley Armstrong is continuing to promote her novel The Gathering, the first in the Darkness Rising trilogy.
  • Friday, November 18 at 7:00 p.m. ~ Chapters Guelph: Stone Road Mall, 435 Stone Road, Guelph, ON.
Kenneth Oppel

Canadian author Kenneth Oppel is continuing to promote his latest novel This Dark Endeavour: The Apprenticeship of Victor Frankenstein, which was recently nominated for the Governor General's Literary Award in the Children's Text category.
  • Saturday, November 26 at 2:00 p.m. ~ Chapters Brampton: Market Hall, 52 Quarry Edge Drive, Brampton, ON. 
Looking Ahead to December...

Christopher Paolini has two upcoming events coming up in December! He'll be in British Columbia and Alberta to celebrate the release of Inheritance, the final novel in the Inheritance Cycle.

~ Alberta Event Details:
  • Monday, December 5 at 6:00 p.m. ~ hosted by Chapters West Edmonton at the Newcap Radio Stage, Phase IV at the West Edmonton Mall in Alberta 
  • You will get ONE wristband with the purchase of Inheritance in-store. Wristbands will be available on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 8, the release date for Inheritance, at Chapters West Edmonton when you purchase the novel. They'll be given away while quantities last.
  • Line-up is first come, first serve for wristband holders only. No posed photography; candid photos only.

~ British Columbia Event Details:
  • Wednesday, December 7 at 7:00 p.m. ~ hosted by Vancouver Kidsbooks at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Gymnasium: 2550 Camosun St. (at W. 10th Ave.) in Vancouver, British Columbia
  • Tickets worth $5 are also required to attend. If you'd like to purchase a ticket or learn more about the event, you can find the information here on their website

  4. You guys...you NEED to go see Kenneth Oppel. Even if you haven't read his books before. I was lucky enough to go see him at my library earlier this year and he was highly entertaining, engaging, and informative. I might even consider going to see him a second time!
