Summary:
My Thoughts:
Sara has worked so hard to to prove herself as a warrior, to refrain from being the impulsive girl she used to be in Relentless who rushed headfirst into danger. Okay, the latter part hasn't really changed, but thanks to her months of training at the Westhorne military stronghold for the Mohiri in Refuge, Sara is fully capable of defending herself now against vampires.
After much trepidation, Sara has fully embraced her Mori demon and she's finally ready to take control of her destiny, though it means going rogue with the help of her best friends. Sara thought she was safe from the Master, a mysterious and powerful vampire, but she's done allowing her loved ones to fight her battles. Sara's only hope to find the Master is to track down the woman who abandoned her as child: Madeline, her mother.
Joining Sara on her mission to find Madeline are her best friends Jordan, Roland, and Peter, who would never allow her to leave them behind. Two Mohiri warriors + two werewolf brothers = one fierce, kick-ass team, completely loyal and supportive of each other. And Jordan's larger role in this novel was a welcome addition! She's always there to give Sara a boost of confidence when she needs it. And let's face it—there are some things that boys will just never understand.
As for Nikolas? Well, his protective instincts are in complete overdrive. He'd do anything to keep Sara safe, even if it meant locking her away in a fortress for her own good. It's frustrating, the lack of faith he has in Sara's capabilities (her Fae powers are crazy awesome!), but he constantly fears losing her. I loved that Sara stands her ground and makes him eventually see reason!
Karen Lynch's Rogue was everything I'd hoped it would be and more, proving once again that when it comes to YA paranormal novels, the Relentless series is among my favourites. My pulse was crazily racing when I reached the final chapters, anxious and unsure what to expect next. Rogue was an exhilarating rush to read! And the identity of the Master was definitely a shocker!! (Like, how did I miss the signs?!)
Sara and Nikolas' story may have come to an end, but I sure hope Karen Lynch plans to revisit the Mohiri world! There are so many beloved characters with their own stories left to tell.

Summary:
Sara Grey is done hiding and done being afraid. The Master thinks he has her running scared, but she’s taking matters into her own hands and taking her life back. With the help of her friends, she sets out to find the one person who can answer her questions about her past, and who may be able to lead them to the Master.
On her journey, Sara faces new challenges and dangers, and learns that the world of good and evil is not as clear cut as she had believed. She makes new friends, unexpected allies, and reconnects with people from her past. As her powers continue to change and grow, she transforms from a struggling girl into a strong young warrior.
But at what cost? How much is Sara willing to sacrifice in her need for independence and her quest for the truth? And will her newfound strength be enough to save her and the people she loves when she finally comes face-to-face with her powerful nemesis? Nothing could have prepared her for what is to come, and it will take everything in her to survive the final test of courage and love.
