2:15 PM

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine spotlighting upcoming releases we're eagerly anticipating.

Release Date: April 5, 2011
Publisher: Margaret K. McElderry

Summary (from author's website):
Who will fall in love, and who will find their relationship torn apart?

Who will betray everything they ever believed in?

Love. Blood. Betrayal. Revenge.

In the heart-pounding fourth installment of the Mortal Instruments series, the stakes are higher than ever.

I am so crazy excited for the highly-anticipated release of City of Fallen Angels!! There are only a few series that will turn me into a complete fan-girl and The Mortal Instruments series is one of them! Cassandra Clare is one of my favourite authors and I just know she'll deliver another novel that everyone will instantly love. I can't wait to immerse myself once again in the Shadowhunter world as we join Clary, Jace, Simon, Magnus and the rest of the gang in what is sure to be another bumpy, angst-ridden adventure we won't soon forget.

If you haven't yet done so, you can give into temptation and read the full first chapter of City of Fallen Angels on Cassandra Clare's website. Or you can watch the first of three book trailers to be revealed for City of Fallen Angels here which gives a recap of the events in the first three novels.
