In this follow up to Legacy of Tril: Soulbound, Kaya has learned that she is Soulbound to Darius, the Barron she secretly trained with at Shadow Academy. After a shocking revelation was revealed right at the end of Soulbound, the first book in the Legacy of Tril series, it's been a long year of waiting to find out how Kaya will deal with the new information that's suddenly challenged everything she's ever known. I always had a hunch that there was definitely more to Darius, but with the war against King Darrek heating up, Kaya has much more complications to deal with than her relationship problems. I'm hoping Soulbroken gives us more answers and further explores this Japanese-influenced fantasy world!
