In My Mailbox (65)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren where we share any new books or goodies we bought, received, borrowed, etc. during the week.

This week, I got...

Received for Review:

Thanks so much to Hachette Book Group Canada, Penguin Canada, Scholastic Canada and Simon & Schuster Canada for sending these novels for review!

Bought:

I've been waiting forever for Chapters/Indigo to get Perception into their stores, to no avail, so I remembered to just order a copy the last time I was at their store. I read it last night and absolutely loved it! It was a great sequel to Clarity. I also ordered myself a copy of The King of Attolia after really enjoying the previous two novels in the series not too long ago.

And my last exam of the semester is this Tuesday! YAY!

What about YOU? Any new reads/finds this week?

And as always... Happy Reading!

  3. I'm interested to see what Between the Lines is like - I've read some of Jodi Picoult's adult books, but since this is a) YA, b) fairy tale-esque, and c) co-written with her daughter, I'm thinking that's really different from everything else she's done!

Also, have you seen the trailer for Changeling? It's really cool, and definitely raised my interest in the book a bit more.

Hope you enjoy your books, Liz! :)

  4. I got the S&S ones too as you know... definitely curious to see what their books are like, though I haven't actually read any of their adult novels! Changeling sounds more like my type of book, though I love the concept of Between the Lines, just not too sure on the writing (I started skimming the first bit when I got it).

Oh I REALLY want to read the Queen's Thief books. I bought the first one, but I haven't managed to pick it up yet. So many books, so little time. =(

  12. i used to read jodi picoult books so much a few years back. but then they started feeling very repetitive. So I kind of just stopped. But her twists and turns were always shockers which I appreciated . Maybe I should give her new book a go.

Happy reading & great haul! :)
