I'm so happy to be helping take part in the Canadian blog tour for Scott Westerfeld's Goliath today! Set during an alternate history of WWI, Keith Thomson's beautiful illustrations within also perfectly complement the novels as well. Goliath, the final novel in the steampunk trilogy, will be hitting shelves next week! Thanks to Simon & Schuster Canada, I was able to ask Scott some questions...

2) I've always enjoyed learning more about history and seeing the twists you've brought to WWI has been a lot of fun to read! What was the most challenging aspect of alternating history to your own advantage in the Leviathan novels?

My Thoughts: I was expecting something a bit better to go along with what sounds like is going to be an amazing new series but I think this cover can grown on me. It just sort of feels like they took a few different pictures, added in a slight faded look and then slopped on the title... that's all. I know I'm probably being just a little bit harsh, but like I said, I think I can come to like it more. My favourite aspect is the ghostly guy!

6) Scott Westerfeld also revealed today on his blog the cover of Goliath, the final novel in his steampunk Leviathan series.  I haven't read the second novel Behemoth yet but I've read and reviewed the first novel Leviathan, which I really enjoyed.
